Wie gut läuft Season 3 in den USA????

    • Habe dazu auch noch einen ausfuehrlichen Artikel. "8 simple rules" hat wieder 10 Mio weniger Zuschauer und ansosnten gab es noch das Special mit Jessica Lynch, dass die Quoten etwas verzehrt hat. Warten wir mal auf die korrekten Daten am Ende der Woche.

      Television viewers love nostalgia, but they only have a limited patience for sentiment. That may have been the lesson as Tuesday viewers began to exit the post-Ritter "8 Simple Rules," while flocking to an "Andy Griffith Show" reunion on CBS.

      Overall, CBS won the night with a 10.2 rating/16 share. A 90-minute special with Jessica Lynch pulled ABC into second with an 8.8/14. NBC dropped to third with a 7.0/11, followed by fourth place FOX's 5.1/8. The WB took a 3.0/5 for the night, while UPN stayed competitive at 2.2/3.

      Among adults 18-49, ABC moved into first with a 5.1 rating in the important demographic. NBC led a logjam of second tier ratings with a 3.8, followed by FOX's 3.7. CBS was fourth with a 3.6 rating. The WB had a 18 to beat UPN's 1.3 rating.

      At 8 p.m., "The Andy Griffith Reunion: Back to Mayberry" gave CBS the night's most watched program with a 13.4/21. ABC held onto second with the 7.9/12 for "8 Simple Rules" and the 5.9/9 for "I'm With Her." The numbers for "8 Simple Rules" were down nearly 10 million viewers from last week's hour-long episode, though the strength of the Mayberry reunion likely contributed to the drop. "Whoopi" and "Happy Family" were third for NBC, beating the 4.4/7 average for two episodes of "That 70s Show" on FOX. On The WB, "Gilmore Girls" had a reliably strong week and beat "One on One" (2.3/4) and "All of Us" (2.5/4) on UPN.

      CBS held onto the lead at 9 p.m., carried by an 8.7/13 for "The Guardian." "According to Jim" and the first part of the Lynch interview put ABC in second, beating "Frasier" (8.1/12) and "Good Morning, Miami" (6.2/9) on NBC. FOX was fourth with the 5.8/9 for "24." Collecting its usual 2.5/4 was "One Tree Hill" on The WB, beating "Rock Me Baby" and "Girlfriends" on UPN.

      The Lynch interview, which averaged a 10.6/17 across its 90 minutes, pushed ABC to a 10 p.m. lead. NBC moved up to second, as "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" took an 8.9/15 to edge CBS' "Judging Amy" for second.

      Ihr findet sie, als auch ne statistik und einige Vergleiche auf ctu-news.de :)

      achso ja stimmt. ich blick bei den quoten in amiland nicht durch. wieso können dies nicht so einfach halten wie wir hier, aber egal. gibt ja ctu-news zur aufklärung, aber die neun millionen, die ich sagte, kommen ja ungefähr hin...
      und ich seh das auch so, wenn american idol wieder vor 24 läuft gehen die quoten auch wieder hoch, also sollten die alten guten quoten wiederkommen.

      Not that CBS' normal Tuesday entries "The Guardian" and "Judging Amy" were having any problems competing on Tuesday nights, but the network turned to hits from other nights to hold on for a Tuesday victory.

      Overall, CBS averaged an 8.0 rating/13 share for the night, stopping hard-charging NBC in second with a 7.4/12. ABC was a respectable third at 6.5/10, beating fourth place FOX's 5.1/8. Both The WB and UPN had strong nights with identical ratings of 3.1/5.

      Among adults 18-49, NBC and ABC tied with a 4.2 rating. FOX pulled down a 3.6 rating in the all-important demographic to beat out CBS' 3.0 rating. UPN scored a 2.0 rating to beat the 1.8 for The WB.

      CBS began the night in the lead with the 8.8/14 for "Navy NCIS." ABC finished second with the comedy duo of slumping "8 Simple Rules" (down for the second straight week to a 7.1/11) and "I'm with Her" (5.7/9), holding off NBC's comedy pairing of "Whoopi" and "Happy Family." FOX was fourth with repeats of "That 70s Show" and "The Simpsons." On The WB, "Gilmore Girls" performed well, scoring a 3.6/6, just slightly ahead of UPN's "One on One" (2.8/5) and Will Smith's appearance on "All of Us" (3.5/5).

      With a 7.9/12, "Without a Trace" held on to win the 9 p.m. hour for CBS. NBC was second with the 7.7/12 for "Frasier" and 6.1/9 for "Good Morning, Miami." ABC was third with "According to Jim" and "Less than Perfect." FOX was fourth with the 5.6/9 for "24." With a 3.1/5 average, UPN comedies "Eve" and "Rock Me Baby" claimed fifth over The WB's "One Tree Hill."

      NBC moved into first at 10 p.m. as the 100th episode of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" pulled down a 9.6/16 to rank as the night's most watched program. CBS took second with "CSI: Miami," with ABC's "NYPD Blue" pulling a 6.7/11 for third.

      Da sind ja die Zahlen nur um 0.1 millionen zuschauer hochgegangen im gegensatz zur 3 episode! Da haben die Simpsons wohl doch net so viel gebracht war ja eh nur ne WH.

      Hoffentlich werden erkennbare steigerungen wegen american idol als lead-in zu sehen sein!

      die quoten sind übrigens nicht besser sondern schlechter geworden!

      Das die dritte Season die Traumquoten der zweiten Staffel nicht erreichen, war eigentlich schon vorauszusehen. Ich hoffe mal das es FOX reicht, wenn sich die dritte Season zwischen der ersten und der zweiten ansiedelt. :)

      klar die veränderungen sind minimal, aber die erste schätzung war doch sehr grob...9mio.
      aber aufjedenfall sind die quoten immer noch besser als die erste staffel, im ganzen gesehen jetzt, da denke ich schon, dass es fox genügt, wenn es um eine vierte staffel geht. schließlich hat fox sicher nicht gut im bezug auf das lead-in entschieden, aber nach der winterpause is wieder american idol da, genau wie bei der heutigen folge das special, das verspricht auch wieder einige zuschauer mehr. ich würde aufjedenfall sagen, dass die quoten dann sicher noch um 1 mio. oder mehr steigen. an season 2 quoten wirds schwer ranzukommen, aber die sind ja wirklich traumhaft. die hauptsache ist, so wirds sich fox auch denken, dass season 3 bessere quoten haben muss als season 1. also wenn die quoten schlechter werden als season 1, was ich aber nicht glaube, dann wirds denk ich eng mit ner vierten staffel, man weiß ja wie schnell fox sein kann in so entscheidungen, aber man weiß auch dass fox an 24 festhielt, also vielleicht würde es auch dann weitergehen, aber das sind nur spekulationen. fakt ist, dass die quoten nach der winterpause aufjedenfall ansteigen werden, und dass die jetzigen quoten wegen des fehlenden, starken lead-ins so "schlecht" sind. bin schonmal gespannt wie die quoten heute werden, tippe mal auf 9.5-10.0 mio...

      CBS averaged an 8.2 rating/13 share in primetime. The other Big Four networks were tightly bunched, with ABC in second at 6.9/11, followed by NBC, 6.6/11, and FOX, 6.4/10. The WB came in fifth at 2.6/4, while UPN averaged 2.1/3.

      ABC scored a narrow victory among adults 18-49, averaging a 4.1 rating in the demographic. FOX and NBC tied for second at 4.0. CBS averaged 2.7, The WB 1.6 and UPN 1.2.

      "Navy NCIS" won the 8 p.m. hour for CBS with an 8.5/14. ABC was second, averaging 6.8/11 for the hour with "8 Simple Rules," 7.4/12, and "I'm with Her," 6.2/10. "An American Idol Christmas" arrived early on FOX and posted a 6.5/10. NBC plucked a "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" episode from Bravo and finished fourth. The WB's movie "Never Been Kissed" rated a tenth of a point higher than the 2.3/4 average for UPN's "One on One" and "All of Us."

      CBS held its lead at 9 p.m. with "The Guardian," 7.7/12. ABC was a close second with "According to Jim," 7.7/12, and "Less than Perfect," 7.0/11. FOX stayed in third with "24," 6.3/10. A Shania Twain special on NBC averaged 5.6/9. The WB stayed in fifth with its movie, while UPN trailed with "Rock Me Baby" and a repeat of "Half and Half."

      At 10 p.m., "Law & Order: SVU" put NBC on top with an 8.7/14. "Judging Amy," 8.4/14, finished second for CBS. "NYPD Blue" averaged 6.6/11 for ABC.
