Post aus dem 24 Forum bei FOX

      Hi Everyone,

You'll never guess what happened to me!!! Last Friday, March 5, 2004, I was lucky enough to get to observe the Cast & Crew of "24" film several scenes from some upcoming episodes from Season 3. They were shooting all day at California State University, Dominguez Hills in Carson, California. My husband is a psychology professor there and we both happen to love the show. So imagine my surprise when he came home Monday (March 1) and showed me an email he received at work about all the details regarding the days they would be there setting up (Wed & Thur) all the way through to the live shoot day (Fri). So I drove into work on Friday with my husband almost not expecting to see much and instead saw Kiefer and got his autograph, Elisha Cuthbert, the director, Jon Cassar, and heard that Carlos Bernard was there for an earlier scene. I got to see Kiefer's stunt double, a stand-in for several of the female characters over the years, and some new, upcoming characters interact with Jack and Kim in ways that mean nothing to me now but obviously will later. I also have a bunch of candid pictures from that day of everyone. What also made it an amazing day was that the crew was SOOOOO kind & generous to me. They made me feel incredibly important. For example, they let me stand really close to everything, they talked to me all those hours I was there, and even let me in on some secret "24" stuff. I was even asked if I wanted to be an extra! But after 6+ hours of pure 24 stimulation I was totally content with how the day had gone and declined. The episodes will air April 20th & 27th. Sorry I couldn't be more detailed but I don't want to give anything away! :) Hope you guys enjoyed hearing about this! P.S. Here's the write-up from the campus PR office: csudh.edu/univadv/2004/March/8_24.htm (may contain a bit of a SPOILER!)

Kiefer seemed focused on working...I'm sure being a co-exec producer, too, adds some weight to his load when shooting on location and when on a tight schedule...yet he still appeared relaxed. In between takes he was either sitting and smoking a cigarette or getting a massage or walking around and roping various people with a rope or a cable or something. One time it was right in front of me. He would also disappear often, I think, to go to his trailer. That's where I got my autograph from him was when I think he was on his way to his trailer in between doing his lines. It was very surreal standing right next to him and being able to smell the coffee and cigarettes on his breath and speaking with him about having him sign my "24" book, "24: The House Special Subcommittee's Findings at CTU" by Marc Cerasini. I thought later to myself, "Oh my God, Kiefer Sutherland's arm was touching MY arm!" I know this sounds stupid! :) He tried to sign the cover of the book but my ballpoint pen wasn't doing the job there and he said something about whether I had a Sharpie because those work better. Anyway, he ended up signing the inside cover with "All my best, Kiefer Sutherland." I was so stunned at that point. It's weird seeing someone in person whom you've always ever seen on TV or in the movies, especially when you really admire them. I only saw him sign a few autographs and take a few pictures. I was there all day to see that he didn't really have that much contact with the public and when he did he seemed pretty reserved. He seemed more comfortable with the cast & crew. The campus was empty that day since they don't have classes on Fridays so there was only ever a handful of people watching at any given time. Another time that I was really near KS was when I was standing behind some screaming high school girls who happened to be watching things and he came over to take a picture with them and give his autograph after they had gotten the security guard to get his attention. It was also neat to have Jon Cassar and Elisha Cuthbert walk right by me, too! A funny moment to me was seeing Kiefer and his stunt double, Matt Taylor, sitting in chairs "shooting the breeze" together. It was like looking at twins. Some people didn't even know what they were looking at when they saw all the equipment and crew, some didn't know what "24" is, or even really who Kiefer is!!!

      Hi!

Laut neuesten News (auch auf ctu-news zu lesen) gibt es auch Gerüchte, laut denen Kirstin Dunst die Rolle der Jane Sauerders spielen soll!

      Was denkt ihr darüber??

    • 03/24 - Brigid Brannagh has joined the cast as Kathy McCartney. Details are scarce about her character but her management firm hinted that she will have scenes with Kiefer Sutherland. You may recongnize Brannagh as "Virginia Bryce" from the WB show Angel.

    • Spoiler from TVGal

Okay I've seen the next three episodes of "24," but I know how testy you all can get when I give away too much information on "24." But I will tell you this -- remember that "24" is really the only show on television that will kill off any character at any time with or without cause. In the three episodes I've seen - two characters are done away with. The second death is particularly upsetting and shocking. Also the President will lie to protect Sherry and Michelle will try to ease the pain of the hotel guests exposed to the virus.

    • Ein Interview oder besser gesagt kurzes Statement von Elisha Cuthbert zum Season Finale und zur Season 4.

04/09 - "I can't give too much away, but Kim is finally going to be breaking out," Elisha Cuthbert says cryptically. "And I have a great scene with Kiefer Sutherland coming up soon. I'm really excited to see it. I don't often watch the show, but I'm planning to watch that episode." Also, look for the dormant romance between Kim and Chase to reappear before the season ends. "We need to let audiences know what's going on with that. It was set aside because of the duties that had to be done, but we'll bring it back when we have some breathing room." Any hints about the final episode? "It's an interesting ending, not like any other 24 season," she teases. "And I feel very confident that the show will be back next year. I had a conversation with one of the producers and he's already working on an idea for next season. The only thing I'm not sure of yet is if I'm a part of it. If they ask me, I'll be there. If not, I'll go off and do movies."

    • Ein kleiner Ausblick auf das Ende der Season 3 bei Entertaqinment Weekly (Palmer, Kim und Sherry) :

04/17 - The cat-and-mouse game will escalate with a demand that Palmer dismantle the U.S. military -- and with Jack (Kiefer Sutherland, pictured) uncovering Saunders' weakness. The biggest shocker: no season-ending cliff-hanger. ''There will be very few loose ends this year,'' promises exec producer Joel Surnow, adding that a hush-hush subplot will keep Tony and Jack's daughter, Kim (Elisha Cuthbert), plenty busy. And yes, Sherry fans, Palmer's witchy ex-wife (Penny Johnson Jerald) returns for the final four episodes.

    • Ein nettes Interview mit Carlos Bernard gibt es auf der Seite von TV Guide Online. Einige nette Hinweise zu seiner Verletzung in Season 3 und der Heilung, seiner Rolle in der letzten Folge und 24 allgemein.

      24 Star: "I Will Survive"
      by Daniel R. Coleridge

      Carlos Bernard

As 24's Agent Tony Almeida, Carlos Bernard is always embroiled in CTU intrigues. Especially since Tony's wife and co-worker Michelle (Reiko Aylesworth) is right there with him in the antiterrorist trenches. And now, she may be infected with the lethal virus, which means Tony's more torn than ever between his duty and dedication to his spouse.

"That's the underlying theme of this season for most of the characters," Bernard tells TV Guide Online. "How do you have a relationship and do a job like that? In the last few episodes of the season, a couple of us are really put to the test. Do you choose your job or relationship? Without telling you what happens, it's a tough decision."

Speaking of agonizing choices, Tony's missus recently made one: She ordered suicide capsules for the Chandler Hotel's virus victims, just in case they needed 'em. Yikes! "I don't think it's too extreme," he says. "I mean, if I was exposed to something as gruesome and painful as that death is, I think I'd rather take a cyanide capsule than sit through it. As long as it's a sure bet that you can't do anything about it."

Crazy things happen constantly on this show — such as Tony's miraculous recovery from that gunshot to the neck. Don't plot twists like that test Bernard's credulity just a bit? "Absolutely!" he laughs. "Although, I think Jack died and came back to life last year, didn't he? So if he can get away with that...

"Of course, I questioned it," he adds. "Everybody [in the cast] talked about it. Here's how I dealt with it: I had major surgery last year. I had badly dislocated my ankle playing basketball. My leg was a bag of bones and they had to screw all the bones back together to hold them in place. My foot was going in the wrong direction! It sucked. But I had major surgery and was up and around, since I had to get back to work in a week or so."

Well, we hate to quibble, but a sports injury isn't quite the same as Tony's near-fatal gunshot wound! "No, I wasn't shot in the neck, but I was on one leg!" he chuckles. "Listen, if you're gonna nitpick about stuff like that, you got the wrong show."

On the bright side, Tony will likely live to see more danger beyond this season. "I've seen the last script, but they're really good at giving out fake scripts. Key scenes will be different," Bernard explains. "In the version I saw, yes, I do survive. However, something pretty interesting happens to my character at the end. It's very cool, but not in a good way.
