YEAH!! Das ist doch mal cool, Mr. Evil himself! Saunders ist echt ein genialer Bösewicht gefällt mir mehr als die anderen. Freu mich schon drauf und ich hoffe das dann bald mal Kiefer und Elisha auftauchen oder Dennis.

So möchte auch noch kurz sagen, dass mir 24Inside sehr gut gefallen hat und es ist super auf Yvonnes Rechner gelaufen *g* Carlos und Reiko waren echt klasse drauf Coole Idee von Fox, ich bin echt positiv überrascht, dass die Fans hier so aktiv übers Net mit einbezogen werden.

Jetzt freu ich mich auch schon auf unseren Oberfiesling. Auf die Fragen an ihn bin ich echt gespannt. Hoffentlich kommt 24Inside jetzt nach jeder Folge und natürlich müssen spätestens nach der letzten 24-Folge Kiefer und Elisha auftauchen :))

@Deliamber, besten dank für den Tipp mit Net Transport, was es nicht für feine Sachen im www gibt. So muss ich mich nicht mehr von dne Launen meines PC terrorisieren lassen, und kann es angucken, wenn er nicht gerade beliebt abzustürzen.

Freue mich somit schon total auf Saunders, und bin auch total auf den Schauspieler gespannt, ob er im richtigen Leben auch so bedrohlich wirkt

Zunächstmal, das mit "Michelle" und "Carlos" ist mir ebenfalls aufgefallen, ich dachte erst, ich hör nicht richtig.

Also mir hat der Webcast mit Paul Blackthorne irrsinnig gut gefallen, sogar noch besser als der Webcast letzte Woche. Vielleicht deswegen, weil ein Gast allein (logischerweise) mehr erzählen kann. Mir hats gut gefallen, dass er ein paar Sachen erzählt hat, die behind the scenes ablaufen. Dass die Schauspieler immer alle da sind, wenn Telefon Gespräche gedreht werden, wussten wir zwar schon, aber ich finde es immer wieder toll, dass, selbst wenn man mal nen freien Tag hat, es selbstverständlich ist, zum Set zu fahren. Ansonsten: Sehr sympatischer Kerl, witzig, sexy Akzent und verdammt gutaussehend.

Werd später noch mehr dazu schreiben..

Ich fänd's schon toll, wenn Kiefer auch kommen würde. Aber ich glaube noch nicht so recht daran. Warum? Es hieß letztens er wäre im Moment in Neuseeland um einen Film zu drehen. Wenn das stimmt, dann hätte er gar keine Zeit.

Mal ne Frage und da ich ja nicht gespoilert werden möchte (3x22 lädt bei mir noch ) lese ich die anderen Postings auch gar nicht richtig durch und bitte um Beantwortung mit einem "@moria", sonst lese ich es nicht. Danke.

Hab eben mal kurz reingezappt mit Saunders, aber wegen Spoilerei schnell wieder gestoppt. Wollte doch nur mal den Akzent hören. Mamaaaa.... Ich denke mal ich kriege als Antwort ein "Nein" auf folgende Frage. Die alten Folgen gibt es nirgends im Netz, oder?? Ist schade, dass man die nicht online stellt denn Leute, die die Episoden erst spät sehen können, sind ja ziemlich angearscht (sorry für den Ausdruck, ist aber doch so :D). Hätte so gerne Tony & Michelle (fast hätte ich auch Carlos & Michelle gesagt ) gesehen. Gibts denn nicht irgendeinen Internet-Freak, der die Folgen irgendwo clevererweise irgendwie gespeichert hat??

Also Reiko und Carlos haben mir gutgefallen (ach ja, ich liebe Albernheiten ), aber Paul Blackthorne war noch ne Spur besser! Mehr Fragen, mehr Zeit als wenn 2 Personen da sind. Nächste Woche kommt dann Mary Lynn Rajskub und Jon Cassar, hm, dass sollte höchst interessant werden :)!

Wollte auch nur noch kurz anmerken, dass mir die Show mit Paul sehr gut gefallen hat und jaaahh ich will ihn als James Bond haben, wäre für mich grad die einzigste Alternative zu Pierce Brosnan. Der ist ja echt knuffig, wie er erzählt hat, dass er sich tierisch über seine Heli-Szene gefreut hat und als er dann im Drehbuch gelesen hat, dass ihm der Heli weggeschossen wird: "Ach, doch keine Heli-Szene" *g* :tongue:

Ich mag ihn auch noch gern für die 4. Season haben Finds immer witzig, wie ich mich in jeder Folge überzeugen muss: "Nein, nein, nicht anschmachten, der Typ ist böse, sehr böse"

Da bin ich schon sehr gespannt, was Mary und Jon nächste Woche zu erzählen haben und @Yvonne, vielleicht wird ja auch deine Frage beantwortet *g*

jaa so gehts mir auch aber ich glaub gerade weil er so herrlich böööse ist, find ich den kerl so geil

die show war echt klasse und das, als er über seine Heli-Szene erzählt hat mir auch am besten gefallen
aber dass die sich immer so rausreden, wenn gefragt wird, ob sie in season 4 noch dabei sind... aaarrgh das ist doch das wichtigste was man wissen will, ob der kerl season 3 überlebt oder nicht *g*

Kurz darauf sind noch zwei Artikel ueber Paul Blackthorne veroeffentlicht worden, da er nun auf der Strasse immer oefter als "der Boese" erkannt wird und er wieder nach England zurueck geht wegen der Fussball EM. Ausserdem spielte er neben 24 noch parallel in ER mit.

Er ist der Boese von Season 3, aber er hat Stil!

Fans Love to Hate '24' Villain Blackthorne

"They are lunatics, aren't they? Absolute lunatics."

That's what English actor Paul Blackthorne has to say about the fans of "24." But it's clear from his voice that he means it in the nicest possible way. The feeling's probably not mutual considering he plays the dashing, yet despicable Stephen Saunders -- the terrorist brain behind this season's virus attack.

"It's been happening a lot that people have been noticing me and looking at me in a slightly unnerved way," he says.

It's not the first time. It happened a few years back, the actor says, when he was making the promotional rounds for the Oscar-nominated Bollywood blockbuster "Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India," in which he played an arrogant colonial official.

"A lot of India loves to hate me and now it seems to be half of America."

Could be more, depending on how Fox ends this season. But Blackthorne already has plans to skip the country -- for soccer, not for fear of "24" fans.

"I'm going back to the old country to watch England play in the European championships. I imagine the fever is just now starting up."

'YOU FREAK ME OUT!'

AS "24" plays out its final three hours, actor Paul Blackthorne is struck by the impact his sadistically villainous character, Stephen Saunders, is making on the series' fans.

"I get very dis turbed reactions from people," Blackthorne told The Post. "One guy looked at me and went, 'Oh, my God, man, you freak me out!' They kind of look really scared for a second, and then go, 'Uhh, it's Stephen Saunders.' On the street. It's happened a lot."

Blackthorne's Saunders, a British MI-6 agent-turned-baddie - "He's not aware he's doing a bad thing, he's saving a kitten from a tree, as far as he's concerned," said the actor - has already created the kind of mayhem that provokes audience hisses.

He's released a deadly virus in a Los Angeles hotel causing many deaths, ordered President Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) to kill a CTU operative, and kidnapped agent Michelle Dessler (Reiko Aylesworth) for escape leverage.

The 35-year-old Brit, born in Wellington, England, is no stranger to playing unlikable types. Three years ago, he was cast in the Indian film "Lagaan," in which "I was the English nasty person." As luck would have it, Blackthorne's trip to Los Angeles - to help the film garner support for Academy Awards consideration - jump-started his career.

Blackthorne got cast in the short-lived series "Presidio Med," executive produced by John Wells, an experience he refers to as "a tremendous bonus."

This year, in an abundance of riches, Blackthorne wound up working in another Wells vehicle, "ER," as a doctor romantically pursuing Dr. Elizabeth Corday (Alex Kingston), while he was simultaneously shooting the Saunders episodes for "24."

"I enjoy the idea of playing two assymetrical characters at the same time," he quipped. While "24's" viewers are manic to learn Saunders's fate, Blackthorne is playing his own version of the waiting game. Over the next few days, he'll learn whether ABC picks up a pilot for a one-hour drama he's made.

"I play an English, Broadway-theater director, married to the obligatory neurotic actress wife," he said. "We're doing the best we can to readjust our relationship, now that we have a baby in it."

Hello--it is 9pm on the east, 6pm here in L.A., and some of you are just beginning to watch the new episode. I just attended the taping of "24: Inside" and thought you'd like a report either way.

First of all, the episode is GREAT--and this is the one that the famous F-18 flyover filming that got L.A. on terror watch was all about---the destruction of Saunders' helicopter in the L.A. River bed is GREAT---and hey, this is spoilerland, so let's cut to the chase---Michelle is saved, Saunders is in custody, Jane is too, but Saunders has just given Jack his usual "Its not that simple, Jack." when asked to reveal the Virus locations on the missing 11 vials as we Kerplink into next week's penultimate episode. There's a super chase scene where Michelle escapes from the bowels of the abandoned Ambassador Hotel (not mentioned on air but that's the locale) and then is told by Jack via cel to go BACK and let Saunders catch her so that they can catch him at the hostage exchange. She's MUCH more grownup about all this than whiney Tony is this episode, but all's well that end's well...except, of course, that we've got 2 hours to go. BTW, Palmer lets Wayne take a PI-hitman type off to go after Sherry and recover the fingerprint pill bottle---and wow, that is very ominous stuff.

ANYHOW....24:Inside is shot on a small rental stage near Burbank Airport. There are two small stages--one is used as an audience holding area/craft service and screening room where we watched the episode (a version without its final opticals in it, btw--the opening had blank black boxes for the character ID freezeframes, not titles with their names, and while the "kerplink-clock" was in shot for the OPEN against black on every segment, the closer where they super it over the split screens was missing in this version. For the really trivial, the running time per the slate in timecode of this episode was 41 minutes and change. SO....we're welcomed, we are shown the show, we're asked to write questions on cards, and then told to use the bathroom if you gotta--cause no use during the show is allowed. WHY? They didn't tell us, but during the pre-taping period in the main stage I could tell--somebody DID flush somewhere in the building and the sound resonated throughout the "Soundstage"! Can't have THAT during the show, can we? Nope.

ANYhow, they chose me as one of the audience questions to be asked, and took those of us who were chosen in first to be seated in pre-arranged seats where the camera guy could find us. For those who wonder, the show is shot with four video cameras--one on each side for singles of the hostess and guest in their chairs, one locked down in a master dead center, and one on a crane to move up and over the audience and pan around to get closeups of us "question people" when ours are mentioned and asked in show. I'll let you guess who's me.

Paul Blackthorne is MUCH thinner looking and more "gangly" in person, is utterly charming and relaxed, and I really like him MUCH better in reality than on the show. He tells MANY great anecdotes about making 24, how he got the job, and his other career experiences, and this is a very intimate interview AND, compared to Reiko and Carlos last time or the February disaster, this is a much more INFORMATIVE and much less fill-time-with-giggles sort of show. I think it is by far the best one they've done--practice makes perfect.

The show you'll see yourself--biggest laugh question was from someone (not me) who asked "Which of the ladies on 24 would you most like to shag?" and Blackthorne gallantly changes it to "have a quiet candlelight dinner with" and then suggests that Reiko would be the one. When we left, they gave us coupons for discounts on the DVD for "Independence Day" in a new version with a "sneak peak" at the sponsor film by the same director/company, "The Day After Tomorrow" and, in a wonderfully "24"-ish touch, little digital keychains that are, as I speak, counting DOWN to the release day and hour of "The Day After Tomorrow" in a very kerplink-clock-ish way.

It was fun, and an "audience wrangler" was there offering tickets to come back next week--so if anyone wants to go and doesn't want to hassle the fox website signup process (though the Internet ticket folks like me got to go in first today) let me know and I'll make arrangements to get you the ticket. I don't know who the guest will be, but while it was fun, it was a "once" for me.

Ich bin jetzt endlich mal dazu gekommen die Show mit Paul anzuschauen. Hat mir richtig gut gefallen aber der Auftritt von Carlos und Reiko hat mir doch ein Stück besser gefallen. Paul ist echt ein cooler Typ und der Akzent ist echt cool. Ich würde ihn gerne als nächsten Bond sehen. Besonders gefallen hat mir die Sache mit dem Heli. Was auch recht lustig war, er wurde für den part als Amador gecastet aber wurde dann als Saunders genommen. Ich freu mich schon auf morgen. Jon und Mary werden bestimmt lustig besonders Mary.
