      Hierzulande laufen derzeit die letzten Folgen der 2. Staffel Prison Break. In den USA lief die 3. Staffel an, welche wegen des Autorenstreiks nur 13 Folgen umfasste, die Quoten wurden von Folge zu Folge immer schlechter und es wurden Gerüchte laut, das die Serie abgesetzt wird, ja sogar durch ein Spin-Off, welches dann in einem Frauengefängnis spielen sollte. Nun haben sich zwei Stars der Serie zu Wort gemeldet, die über den weiteren Verlauf sprachen.

      So gab Domininc Purcell (Lincoln Burrows) in der "Tubridy Tonight" Show bekannt, das eine vierte Staffel definitiv kommen wird. Die zweite Bestätigung kam von Robert Knepper (T-Bag). Dieser war in einer einer französischen TV Show zu Gast und ließ dort sogar verlauten, das man bereits im Mai mit den Dreharbeiten beginnen wird. Laut einem Sprecher von Fox hieß es sogar, das man für die neue Staffel nach Los Angeles ziehen wird, nachdem man Staffel eins in Chicago und Staffel zwei und drei in Dallas (North Texas) gedreht hatte.

      Wir sind gespannt wie es für die beliebte Serie weitergehen wird.

      In a press conference miller reviled that the 4th season of 'Prison Break' will also be the last one. It's going to be the bloodiest season as Michael and his brother will try to revenge the death of Sara.

      During his visit to Israel, Prison Break star Wentworth Miller told reporters there that the 4th season of the show is on and they will start filming at the end of this month.

      Fox will air the new season this September once the Olympic Games are over with.

      Miller said in the upcoming season Michael will go after Sara's killers, and will try to bring the group behinde the whole thing to light.

      Auch Wentworth Miller (Michael Scofield) gab nun auf einer Pressekonferenz in Israel bekannt, dass es eine 4. Staffel von Prison Break geben wird. Damit ist er nun der 4. Darsteller der uns dies bestätigt.
      Im Gegensatz zu Robert Knepper (T-Bag) und Amaury Nolasco (Sucre) sagte er allerdings nicht, dass die Dreharbeiten im Mai beginnen, sondern Ende März.
      Die Ausstrahlung der 4. Staffel soll laut Wentworth Miller schon im September kurz nach den Olympischen Spielen beginnen.

      Des Weiteren sagte Wentworth Miller, dass es in der 4. Staffel nicht wieder darum gehe aus dem Gefängnis aus zu brechen, sondern darum sich an der Company zu rechen, dafür dass sie Sara getötet haben.

      So we got word on Wednesday that we are officially picked up by the network for Season 4. This is great news. We are all very excited. We are moving offices onto the Fox Studio Lot next week and we had to say goodbye to the offices that were our home for the past 3 years ... not really that sad because, well, c’mon, it’s just a frickin’ building. But my new office is about half the size with just a tiny window which normally would suck except for one thing ... I get to go to work everyday with people I love and respect and I get to be creative. So I don’t really give a rat’s ass what our new offices look like! For those of you who celebrate Easter, have a great one. I will be at my home having Easter dinner with family (visiting cousins) and friends (including Prison Break writer Kalinda Vazquez) -- it should be a nice weekend leading into an even better week of diving head-first into Season 4!       Das amerikanische Network FOX hat offiziell eine vierte Staffel der Ausbruchsserie „Prison Break“ bestellt, nachdem die dritte durch den Autorenstreik verkürzt worden war.
      Obwohl die Einschaltquoten der Serie in der vergangenen Season rückläufig waren und die Suche nach einer vernünftigen Story für „Prison Break“ seit Ende der ersten Staffel nicht gerade einfach war, hat der amerikanische Sender FOX jetzt vom Produktionsstudio 20th Century Fox eine weitere komplette Staffel mit 22 Episoden bestellt.
