  • @ Troll: Ich stimme dir zu. L.A. ist auch sehr "busy" wenn's um den Verkehr geht, aber NY ist da noch wesentlich schlimmer ;) (Ich kenne beide Städte) Viele New Yorker benutzen deshalb die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel anstelle ihres Autos ;)
    Es kann sein, dass ich mich irre, aber New Yorker - vor allem Manhatten - hat den worst traffic ever :D
    Los Angeles hat mehr das Problem das es realtiv weitläufig ist. Und es daher etwas länger dauert die City zu durchqueren. (Mal abgesehen, dass der Verkehr der einer Großstadt ist ;) )

    Darum gefällt mir unter dem Gesichtspunkt DC so gut. Die Stadt ist relativ klein und der Verkehr ist nichts im Vergleich zu dem Big Apple. Da kommt man schon mal eher von A nach B ( wenn man natürlich gewisse Straßen zu bestimmten Zeiten meidet ;) )

    Aber ich denke sie werden einfach wieder vermehrt auf Hubschrauber zurück greifen. Oder lassen die Stadt in Rekordzeit evakuiren, von wegen Terroranschlag :D Dann gibt es zumindest in der Hinsicht kein Problem ;)

    Wie auch immer. das ist nun schon ein Problem das es seit Season 1 gibt, und es hat sich über 7 Seasons konstant hinweg gehalten. Darum wird es in S8 nicht besser oder schlimmer sein als in den voran gegangenen Staffeln :)

    Da fällt mir ein: Gab' es nicht sogar schon Überlegungen, die Season 7 in NYC spielen zu lassen? Am Ende wurde es aber verworfen weil zu umständlich, teuer oder keine Dreherlaubnis? Keine Ahnung was es war :S Mir schwebt da nur so etwas vor ...

  • Denke mal nachdem das FBI so versagt hat, wird eine CTU in NY City wahrscheinlich, wenn nicht sogar nötig. Aber berechtigte Frage,
    ziehen die dann alle von LA nach NY? Wie wird dies wohl dann reinpassen. Zumindest hat der Großteil der 24 Charaktere in LA gelebt.

    Naja, Gerüchte sind eh net so mein Ding. Mal überraschen lassen. Was mir "Sorgen" macht, ich hatte ja das 24 Premiere Special erwähnt,
    da wurde explizit drauf hingewiesen, dass auch ohne Jack Bauer 24 dann genau so weitergehen wird. Von daher denke ich mir schon ein
    paar Sachen aus, ob diese dann eintreffen mal sehen. Mir hatte hier auch keiner geglaubt das Tony die Seiten wechselt, und nun ... :>

    [SONDRA HASHEMI] Middle Eastern, in her 40s, she is Arman’s (Anil kapoor) wife. An attractive woman. It initially seems she does not have the warmest relationship with her husband...RECURRING ROLE.

  • auf Gotcast.com stehen alle ausführlichen Informationen zum neuen Cast. Total spannend. Die Storyline um den Middle-Eastern Staatschef scheint doch sehr umfangreich zu sein, seine komplette Familie ist scheinbar involviert und die Präsidentin hat auch einen neuen Stabchef - das wars dann wohl mit Olivia und ihre kleinen Mätzchen :!:

    television journalist who is a regular contributor to a show similar to
    "60 Minutes". She has always been a very ambitious journalist. She
    comes from an upper-middle-class background and has a touch of
    arrogance about her. Diane is romantically seeing the President of a
    Middle Eastern country. SERIES REGULAR

    Kayla Hashemi, Middle
    Eastern, 20s. Kayla is the humble and shy daughter of the President of
    a Middle Eastern country. She is close with her mother and wants to do
    anything she can to gain her mother's approval. Kayla is somewhat
    old-fashioned and traditional. She is also very defensive of her father
    and gets upset whenever anyone begins to critize him.

    Sondra
    Hashemi, Middle Eastern, 40s - 50s. Sondra is the pretty and loyal wife
    of President Hashemi. At first she does not seem to be happy with her
    husband, but we eventually see that there is a very real bond and
    respect between them under the surface.

    MALES

    Jonah
    Schwartz, any ethnicity, 20s. Jonah is a quirky and brilliant Systems
    Analyst at the government's Counter Terrorism Unit. He looks more like
    a college grad student rather than a top secret undercover agent. He is
    somehow hip and geeky at the same time. Jonah is an expert at computer
    technology. SERIES REGULAR

    Rob Weiss, any ethnicity, 30s.
    Weiss is the argumentative and tough Chief of Staff to President
    Allison Taylor. He speaks his mind and does not worry about being
    polite. Weiss is quick to strike back against the President's enemies.
    He is a bit high-strung at times, but he does a great job protecting
    the interests of the administration. SERIES REGULAR.

    Davis
    Cole, any ethnicity, Mid 20s - 30s. Davis is a former military guy who
    is now in charge of the Counter Terrorism Unit's Field Operations. He
    has recently returned from time in the Marines in the Middle East, and
    he is now readjusting to civilian life. Davis aspires to eventually
    take a similar career path as Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland). He looks
    up to Bauer and admires him. Davis is also romantically seeing his
    colleague Dayna Pakkala. SERIES REGULAR

    Brian Hastings, any
    ethnicity, 30s - 40s. Brian is a clean-cut and businesslike man who is
    in charge of the Counter Terrorism Unit's New York City office. He has
    a very keen and focused sense of intelligence about him. He choses his
    words very carefully when he speaks and never overeacts to anything. He
    seems like someone who would be comfortable trading stocks or running a
    company, but instead he has chosen to help contribute to running the
    agency. SERIES REGULAR

    Farhad Hashemi, Middle Eastern, 30s -
    40s. Hashemi is the Secretary of State of a fictional Middle Eastern
    country, and his brother is the President. He does not completely trust
    the Americans, and he is reluctant to enter into a peace treaty with
    the United States.

  • @Troll - Danke für die Info.

    Heißt das aber nicht, dass sich der Zeitrahmen zwischen der 7. und 8. Staffel verändert? Bis jetzt geht man von 6 Wochen nach Tag 7 aus, allerdings ist Teri zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt schätzungsweise 1,5 Jahre alt, dann soll sie 3-4 Jahre alt sein. Also müßte man ca. 18 Monate rechnen. Der Zeitrahmen wäre auch realistischer für eine mögliche Heilung Jacks (Stammzellentherapie ist keine Sache von Heute auf Morgen) bzw. Neugründung der CTU - das baut man auch nicht mal so richtig wieder auf.

    Es könnte sich auch auf Jack beziehen welcher ja im Moment noch sterbend Krank ist und mit seinen letzten Wunsch ja den Attentat verhindern will


    Ausserdem werden diese Ankündigungen mit bezug auf Darsteller wohl für diese Season (7) gemacht . Was aber nicht heißt das ich gegen Tony in Season 8 wäre .

"I think the secret of this show is knowing when characters have had their story," explains exec producer Howard Gordon. "And to transpose everybody [from D.C. to New York] starts feeling very coincidental. Even getting Chloe there ... you have to explain how she got from Washington to New York and what happened. You can't do that for everybody."

  • It's casting time....

    Ausiello hat den chief of staff parat, hat aber leider nicht in petto, was aus Ethan dann geworden is... zwischen dem neuen und Ethan scheinen auch gefüllte 100 Jahre zu liegen, frisch und energisch wirkt er auf jeden Fall.
    krass ist auch der Name, chris DIAMANTOPOULOS - viel zu viele Vokale, wenn ihr mich fragt :P

  • Ich sag's euch - am Ende wird Ethan der neue FGOTUS und Mr. Grieche eben der neue Chief of Staff. Hoffentlich geben sie seinem Charakter nen einfacheren Namen, sonst muss ich ihn die ganze Zeit "Mr. Grieche" oder "Souvlaki" nennen. :D Ich freu mich jetzt schon drauf!

  • Da wir ja jetzt einen allgemeinen Bereich für die 8. Season haben, fände ich es gut, wenn wir die News (soweit es geht) bezüglich Cast und Inhalt in den neuen Topics getrennt halten. Nicht jeder, der sich für die neue Cast interessiert, will auch Infos zur Story der 8. Season.

    Ich schließe das Topic daher am besten, da wir sonst zu viele ähnliche Topics haben. Wer Lust hat, kann im Cast Topic und im Plot Topic gerne eine Übersicht posten, was wir bisher schon alles wissen. :)
