      Question: What gives? 24’s premiere is a little over a month away and we haven’t gotten any new scoop in ages! —Nicole
      Ausiello: A month away? That’s odd, because I just watched the first four episodes last night thanks to the advance screener Fox sent me and not you. I know. You want my life. Get in line. In the meantime, take comfort in knowing that the five-week slog until the Jan. 17 regular people premiere will be worth the wait. Day 8 gets off to a strong start. But be forewarned: Mykelti Williamson’s CTU boss Brian Hastings may go down as the biggest, most clueless toolbag in 24 history. And this show has seen a lot of clueless toolbags. Oh, and I’m trying to get confirmation on this, but, based on these four episodes, I’m fairly certain Katee Sackhoff’s agent worked the following non-negotiable clause into her 24 contract: “Client’s long flowing blond locks must be perfectly swept over her left shoulder at all times.”

      Hi, ich weiß, dass schon an diversen Stellen darüber spekuliert wurde, aber ich finde nun die Beiträge nicht mehr: Wie siehts aus mit Tony Almeida in Season 8? Kommt er noch zum Einsatz, hat sich was ergeben diesbezüglich bzw. gibt es neue Statements, die dafür oder dagegen sprechen?

      Ich fände es erstens äußerst bedauerlich, wenn er nicht zu sehen wäre und keine oder nur eine winzige Rolle spielen würde und zweitens ziemlich unsinnig ihn erst in Season 7 auf obskuren Wegen zum Leben zu erwcken, um ihn dann in der Versenkung verschwinden zu lassen.

    • Ich vermute mal du meintest das Topic hier. :) Ich habe deinen Beitrag hier mal mit reingenommen, da wir glaube ich kein extra Topic für Tony brauchen.

      Ansonsten kann ich dir bei der Frage leider nicht weiterhelfen. Ich hatte mal gehört, dass er für 2 Folgen oder so wieder mitspielen sollte. Aber ob das stimmt, oder nur ein Gerücht war, weiß ich leider nicht. Ich versuche möglichst spoilerfrei zu bleiben. :)

    • Ich wollte deswegen jetzt kein neues Topic eröffnen, deswegen frag ich es mal hier, auch wenn es nicht wirklich hier rein passiert:

      Weiß man schon ob Jürgen Prochnow sich eigentlich selbst synchronisiert? Ich will es doch hoffen, kann es nämlich wirklich nicht leiden wenn ich höre dass sich deutsche Schauspieler synchronisieren lassen und dies nicht selber tun

      Bis Jetzt ist noch nicht bekannt ob er sich selbst Synchronisiert. In seinen anderen Filmen hat er sich fast immer selbst Synchronisiert. Hier könnte es aber zeitlich ziemlich eng werden.

      "When you need a bad-ass, who better to call than Michael Madsen, who has played that role so well in such films as Reservoir Dogs, Thelma & Louise, Kill Bill and Free Willy 2: The Adventure Home (er…scratch that last one)? Now, the much sought-after 52-year-old has been cast on Fox’s 24 as Jim Ricker, a character sources describe to me as an ex-military guy from Jack Bauer’s past. Meaning, of course, a bad-ass.
      Ricker will pop up as the clock ticks toward the final hours of Day Eight, which is looking more and more like Jack’s last day on TV before he heads to the movies.

      Unerwartet späte Casting-News, ABER seeehr sehr gute News :80:

      Michael Madsen "(könnte)" also Jacks letzter Gegner werden. Ich hatte ja mit Familie Bazhaev als Gegner für Jack für die GANZE Season gerechnet. Allerdings ist der Sohn tot und der Vater in Gewahrsam; find ich persönlich sehr schade. Da war viel mehr Potenzial drin, in der Bad-Guys Story dieses Jahr, aber anscheinend haben Jürgen Prochnow und David Anders nur für 6 Folgen unterzeichnet. Aber Madsen wir schon das beste draus machen :zwinker:

      Wie brilliant ist das denn bitte? Als Tarantinofan natürlich fast der Super-Gau :P

      Richtig richtig geile News muss ich sagen. Hätte zwar auch sehr gern Gary Oldman gesehen, der ja öfters mal im Gespräch war, aber Hauptsache Jacks letzter Gegner ist kein No-Name.
      Ob Madsens Charakter wohl bei Nightfall dabei war? Das würde wahrscheinlich zu weit führen^^

      Canadian pop star and teen sensation Justin Bieber has joined the cast of 24, playing an ambitious young CTU Field Agent who will partner with Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) in the final two episodes.

      “Justin is nothing short of a phenomenon,” says “24″ executive producer and showrunner, Howard Gordon. “It’s so rare to find an artist this young with such pure star quality and dynamic presence. This is an exciting time for Justin Bieber fans, for the 24 family, and for television in general.”

      “Bieber Fever has taken over with 150 million views on YouTube and total domination of Twitter trending topics for months. This series finale will be the most talked about television event of the decade thanks to Bieber’s star power,’” Fox TV spokesman Chris Alexander added.

      24 has traditionally cast Canadian actors including Elisha Cuthbert, Leslie Hope, Carlo Rota, and Colm Feore as First Gentleman Henry Taylor. The series star, Kiefer Sutherland, and it’s directors Brad Turner and Milan Cheylov are also Canadian.

      Bieber’s newest album “My World 2.0″ sold over 283,000 copies in the past week according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan, earning him the number one spot on Billboard 200.

      Production on the “24″ series wraps next week after eight years. At the conclusion of Season 8, 24 will have a produced a total of 194 episodes (including “24: Redemption”), making it one of the longest-running action television shows in history.
