      greets tomorru
You're ugly only on the outside.
    • Hi!

      From the Insider
      5.01 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
      Airdate: January 15th, 2006
      Airtime: 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
As I told you several months ago 24’s fifth season will open up with the deaths of several regular characters. Pretty much everything I said a few months ago is still valid with the exception of why these characters are killed. The Chinese angle was pushed aside and I have no idea if it will resurface later on in the season. The season premiere begins with a man named Frank Flynn trying to get work at an oil production facility which is located somewhere in Southern California. Frank Flynn is Jack Bauer’s alias for his new life. This new life takes place in a small town which is surprisingly close to Los Angeles. Jack lives with a woman named Diane Huxley and she has a rebellious teenage son named Derek. On this day, Jack isn’t able to find work at the oil facility and he heads back home. At the house, Jack is eating his breakfast and Derek is in the kitchen with him. Derek questions Frank/Jack about his shady past and Derek knows that Jack is hiding something but he doesn’t know just how much. At a penthouse in Los Angeles, President David Palmer and his brother Wayne are busy working on David’s memoirs. This book will play a huge role in the season later down the line and it seems that President Palmer has information regarding a senior member of the Logan administration who may be working along side terrorists in a twisted plot to show that America is still a superpower. President Charles Logan is conveniently in Southern California with his wife Martha at the Presidential retreat and Logan is meeting with the Russian President to sign a controversial peace treaty. Martha speaks with her husband and she says that she spoke with President Palmer recently and that he claimed that he needed to tell her something important. Logan and his right hand man Walt Cummings brush off Martha’s claims and they speak with her about her medication and they think she might be making everything up. Tony and Michelle are at home in a cozy West Valley neighborhood. They have plans for a business meeting but those plans are quickly scrapped once they learn of a drastic situation. Michelle thinks that they should head over to CTU to help out but Tony doesn't want to go and he thinks they would just be getting in the way of the investigation. Michelle evaluates the severity of the incident and she decides the business meeting is irrelevant and that she needs to offer her services to CTU. Tony eventually agrees and they prepare to head off to CTU Los Angeles. At CTU, Buchanan hasn’t heard from Chloe in awhile and he calls her but she doesn’t answer her cell. They can’t find her but Edgar speaks with another CTU agent named Spenser and he says that Chloe is fine. Edgar wonders how Spenser knows that Chloe is safe and Spenser reveals that he was at her house earlier in the morning and they are in a relationship. Chloe is not safe and she is running for her life. A hit squad is hot on her trial and Chloe calls Jack and reaches out for his help. Back at Jack’s place, Jack’s cell phone rings and it’s Chloe. Chloe says a bunch of men are trying to kill her and she asks Jack for his help. Jack advises Chloe to go dark and to come to the oil production facility which is I guess pretty close to Los Angeles. Jack goes into his bedroom and takes out a bag which I guess is full of guns and hacksaws and everything else he will need for today’s events and he drives off to meet with Chloe. Jack eventually arrives at the meeting place and so does Chloe. They start talking but Jack realizes that Derek followed him to the meeting. Then the hit squad shows up and there’s a huge gunfight. Jack will speak with one of the dying gunmen and the man reveals a startling revelation to Jack that involves President Palmer.

Kein Wort über Palmers / Michelles Tod oder Tony in der CTU Medical ?(

    • Hi,
Ansonsten abeer schonmal sehr interessant. Danke Zerfall.
As I told you several months ago 24’s fifth season will open up with the deaths of several regular characters. Pretty much everything I said a few months ago is still valid

      8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
      Airdate: January 15th, 2006
      Airtime: 9:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

In the helicopter, Jack calls Diane and tells her to start driving towards Los Angeles. Meanwhile at CTU, they are still trying to track down Chloe and they try and locate her with her cell phone and they try to access her computer but they can’t because she is remotely logged in somewhere else. Curtis accesses the surveillance tapes and he enhances the image and he comes across a possible shooter. They close in on the face and the shooter is Jack. Jack lands and he, Chloe and Derek get inside of a van. They arrive at the building which is now a heavily guarded crime scene with well over 150 federal agents stationed inside and outside the building. Chloe enters the parking garage and flashes her CTU badge and she eventually meets with some of the feds and Jack sneaks out of the van and steals some F.B.I. gear and makes his way inside the building. Chloe runs point for Jack as he maneuvers his way towards the penthouse floor. Jack accesses the computer in the penthouse and he finds an address. The feds are briefed on the shooter and they are shown a photo of Jack. They eventually close in on Jack and he escapes just as the agents enter. Jack makes his way back to the garage and the Feds are right behind him. Jack gets into the van and Chloe speeds away. The Feds head after the van and they eventually get Chloe to stop. The agents open up the back door but there’s no sign of Jack or Derek and the agents detain Chloe. Jack and Derek are in a stolen car and they are heading for the address Jack found in the computer. Jack meets with Diane and she picks up Derek. Jack feels awful about the whole situation but he knows he needs to leave them. Jack makes his way to the address which is a room near the baggage claim area at a small airport near Los Angeles. Jack goes inside the room and there’s a man inside. The man is named Chevchensky. Jack confronts him but Chevchensky swallows a pill and kills himself. Meanwhile outside the airport, there’s a van packed with more Russian’s. But these guys aren’t another hit squad, they are terrorists. The men exit the van and they make there way inside the airport where they fire their automatic weapons into the ceiling and blow stuff up and they take everyone hostage. Derek heads inside the airport because he knows something is wrong and he is eventually taken hostage. Jack hears the gunshots and he peeks his head out but he’s staying inside the room for now. One of the Russian terrorists at the airport takes out his cell phone and dials a number. He tells the man on the other line that it has begun. He then says that everything will be fine as long as your President grants our demands. The man on the other line is revealed and it’s Walt Cummings, President Logan’s advisor from season four.

Herc! The current issue of TV Guide has already revealed that:
      * Jack Bauer has been impersonating an oil digger named Frank Flynn. “Frank” has been “shacking up” with a local woman (Connie Britton) and her son;

      * Jack will be roused from his “death” by “Eastern Bloc freedom fighters” overseen by a billionaire (Julian Sands);

      * Russia and the United States are about to sign an antiterrorism treaty;

      * Tony and Michelle, remarried and running their own security firm, “will facilitate Jack’s reentry into his old life and, inevitably, the CTU offices”;

      * Jack will “butt heads” with a new CTU leader (Sean Astin) and be reunited with his “G-man mentor” (Peter Weller);

      * Audrey Raines will learn that Jack lives; and

      * Kim Bauer will stage a “comeback.”
      True?
TV Guide has indeed reported these things.

Is there anything TV Guide is … not telling us?
      There is.

Wait. First. Did TV Guide get any of it wrong?
The “shacking up” thing might be misleading. Jack is renting a room in the Connie Britton’s character’s house. While there’s some sexual tension, there’s no outward evidence (at least at first) that the two are or ever were a couple.

      What’s it called?
      7:00 A.M. – 8:00 A.M.

      Who’s responsible?
Teleplay is said to be credited to “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”/“Angel” vet Howard Gordon.

Does Jack start out with that hoodie-Cobain look he sported in the season-four DVD’s 10-minute season-five prequel?
He does not. Jack starts the season looking pretty much the way he does in Fox’s season-five promos.

Season one began with a plane crash. Last season began with a train crash. What action sets the plot in motion this season?
Within the first five minutes, a sniper’s bullet pierces the brain of one of the world’s most famous political figures. A character we’ve met before this season will cradle this political figure’s brain matter and skull fragments.

      The big news?
In the first 20 minutes, a woman we’ve met in a prior season will die. A character we met in season one will witness her death.

Have Edgar and Chloe and Curtis gone the way of Milo?
No fewer than 12 characters from prior seasons return for the season premiere. Here are 10 of them:
      07:00 DOD Vet Jack Bauer
      07:05 President Charles Logan
      07:05 Presidential Aide Mike Novick
      07:07 CTU vet Bill Buchanan
      07:07 CTU Vet Curtis Manning
      07:07 CTU Vet Edgar Stiles
      07:10 CTU Vet Chloe O’Brien
07:12 CTU Vet “Soul Patch” Tony Almeida
      07:12 CTU Vet Michelle Dessler
      07:20 DOD Vet Audrey Raines

Is it true, as reported on IMDb, that Tzi Ma is back for 5.1?
IMDb lies about 5.1. If our intel is correct, Tzi Ma does not reprise the role of Cheng Zhi in 5.1. Ping Wu does not reprise the role of Su Ming in 5.1. William Devane does not reprise the role of James Heller in 5.1. Sean Astin is not in 5.1. Sabrina Lloyd is not in 5.1. And IMDb fails to list several returning cast members who will return in 5.1, including Bill Buchanan.

But. But. Sean Astin. TV Guide said he was playing a CTU
Astin does not appear until 5.4.

Is Chloe still working for CTU at episode’s start?
She is. In her first scene, we learn that Chloe has something in common with fellow CTU vets Jack Bauer, Chase Edmunds, Michelle Dessler, “Soul Patch” Tony Almeida, Nina Myers, Curtis Manning and Kim Bauer.

What does Chloe now have in common with Jack Bauer, Chase Edmunds, Michelle Dessler, “Soul Patch” Tony Almeida, Nina Myers, Curtis Manning and Kim Bauer?? I must know!
Chloe likes to bone the occasional CTU employee!!

      Ew! Edgar??
      That. Would be. Telling.

Is Audrey now working for CTU?
No. She’s just comes to visit CTU on behalf of President Logan shortly after all hell breaks loose.

Is Logan in D.C., as he was last season?
No. Like all the other returnees, he is in California.

Any new key characters TV Guide fails to mention?
Two of the biggest are First Lady Martha Logan (Jean Smart), who has a history of mental instability, and Martha’s stunning aide Evelyn (“Rapa Nui” star Sandrine Holt).

      Is Milo back?
Eric Balfour was busy with that witless primetime soap about Silverlake.

Supersexy lesbian assassin Mandy? Naked cavorting?
      Not in the first four.

Will this be a good episode?
One of the best ever. The stuff with the Bakersfield teenager learning of Jack’s secret identity is priceless.

How does it end, spoiler boy?
A photograph of Jack Bauer appears on a computer monitor.
